Cebu-based conglomerate Vivant Corp. has unveiled an ambitious capital expenditure plan, committing P67 billion toward the expansion of its power and water infrastructure projects through 2030. Despite prevailing global economic uncertainties, the firm remains focused on long-term growth and national development.

Vivant CEO Arlo Sarmiento confirmed during the company's annual stockholders’ meeting that approximately P60 billion of the total budget is earmarked for the rollout of new energy projects. A central pillar of this investment strategy is the transition toward sustainable power, with the company aiming to scale its portfolio to 1,000 megawatts. Notably, Vivant has committed to ensuring that at least 30 percent of its total capacity will be derived from renewable energy sources.

This massive allocation highlights the group’s confidence in the local market's resilience. By prioritizing both energy stability and water resource development, Vivant Corp. aims to fortify its position as a major infrastructure player in the Philippines over the next five years.
