The competitive fire of the Sacred Heart School-Ateneo de Cebu Alumni Basketball Athletic Association (SHAABAA) Season 29 reached new heights on Wednesday night at the Magis Eagles Arena. Following tough setbacks in their previous matches, last season’s Division C runners-up Batch 2015-BRX and the seasoned veterans of Batch 2014 asserted their dominance to reclaim their winning momentum. Batch 2015-BRX, widely regarded as a division powerhouse, executed an offensive masterclass, defeating Batch 2024-730 Autoworx with a commanding 114-73 scoreline. Spearheaded by Lorenzo Otero and supported by five players scoring in double digits, the victory sends a clear signal to the rest of the league. Meanwhile, Batch 2014 also secured a vital win, proving that experience and strategic execution remain their greatest assets as the tournament progresses.
