FNI Sees Significant Profit Increase Due to Higher Nickel Ore Prices and Shipments

✅ Category: Business & Economy

Global Ferronickel Holdings, Inc. (FNI), a listed miner, has reported a substantial increase in its first-quarter earnings. This surge is primarily driven by the rise in nickel ore prices and the increased shipment volumes from its operations in Palawan.

According to the company's statement, the attributable net income jumped by 169.6% to P478 million from P177.3 million in the same period last year. Additionally, revenues saw a 36.6% increase, further solidifying the company's financial position.

This significant growth underscores the positive impact of favorable market conditions on the mining sector, particularly for companies like FNI that are heavily involved in nickel ore production and export.
